Ethics

Legislative Advocacy
Operating in one of the most heavily regulated business environments in the U.S., CSP serves as a powerful advocate for the staffing and recruiting industry in California. We actively oppose harmful legislation, support pro-business initiatives, and work to ensure a more balanced and supportive regulatory climate for our members.

Political Engagement (CSP PAC)
The CSP Political Action Committee (CSP PAC) raises and allocates funds to support the election of pro-employer, business-friendly candidates to state office. This strategic political engagement helps ensure that the interests of staffing professionals are well-represented in California’s legislative process.

Public Relations
CSP works to raise public awareness of the staffing industry and enhance the visibility of our members. Through strategic outreach and communication, we position CSP professionals as credible, knowledgeable partners in workforce solutions, trusted by both employers and candidates.

In accordance with democratic principles, CSP places ultimate authority in the hands of its membership. Major policy decisions are determined through membership votes—either by mailed ballot or at the annual state convention.

The membership also elects CSP's Board of Directors, a group of professionals who represent the regional diversity of our membership and act on behalf of the organization. The Board meets quarterly and is empowered to conduct official business in alignment with the CSP Bylaws and Standing Rules of Order. To carry out its responsibilities, the Board operates through standing and special committees.

CSP's regional programs, networking events, and community activities are vital to advancing our mission. These forums offer members the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and share insights—even as they compete in the broader marketplace—strengthening the industry as a whole.
